Let’s go back to 2022. We had a room next to the front door that we wanted to turn into a guest bedroom with space-saving furniture, but since we barely have guests, it mostly sat empty (or filled with boxes). The plan was to make the most of the space—using it as a guest room only when needed—and finally create a proper home office with a desk and everything. I love a good DIY home decor project, so I was up for the challenge of building one ourselves. I’ll be sharing everything we did in hopes of inspiring you to create your own small space solutions!

When we moved into our new house in 2020, I knew we had a lot of work ahead of us. This house needed a lot of love, and the laundry space was one of the projects I needed to tackle as soon as possible. Of course, at that time, we opted for an easy and affordable makeover. It worked well at first, but soon after, I realized it wasn’t the best use of the space. Now, four years later, I’m making some changes.

I don't have overhead lights in most of the rooms in our home, so I love filling them with lamps. It just gives a whole different vibe to the space—the perfect atmosphere to grab a hot beverage, a blanket, and watch your comfort movie. That's why I decided to share my top 5 favorite lamps. Each one adds its own unique charm and warmth to a room, making it the perfect addition for cozy nights in.

So…I changed the color in our multipurpose room! I know, I know—why, Valeria? Why are you re-painting again? Well, let’s keep it simple: first, I don’t like to settle for something unless I truly love it; and second, I love change. When I have a new idea, I want to try it out.

Three years ago, we created this beautiful accent wall in the midst of the chaotic renovation of our kitchen. It might look like a lot of work, but it was actually very simple.
